Popcorn Truffles
Whenever I go to the movie theater, I have one problem. Where is my sweet snack?
All these sugary candies are poison for my guts so las time I went I thought why not bring some of my energy bites. Popcorn Truffles sounded like a fun idea, so here is the recipe.
Ingredients:
14 pitted dates (soaked in warm water)
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup dry roasted hazelnuts
1 cup crushed popcorn
Extra popcorn for rolling
Method:
Add all ingredients in a food processor and blend until a sticky ball is formed.
Roll into small balls and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll in crushed popcorn and drizzle with unsweetened chocolate for some extra sweetness.
Store in fridge for up to 7 days.
