Hello to all you beautiful health nuts out there; allow me to introduce you to these deliciously healthy Mangosteen Popsicles. The perfect treat to help you cool down from the summer heat.
There is nothing like enjoying homemade frozen popsicles on a hot summer day. Oh wait, there is. Enjoying wholesome homemade frozen popsicles. Yup thats right. These delights are dairy-free and naturally sweetened. So not only are these Mangosteen Popsicles great for you, but they also turned out super cute 🙂 Those swirls are just too cool and were so fun to shoot.
Popsicles are probably one of my favorite goodies to prepare. They are super fast and you can come up with any flavor or style you want. The world is your oyster. Personally I love fruity popsicles. They are super refreshing and make for a fun dessert idea.
Of course you can always get popsicles at a grocery store, but I can’t promise they won’t be full of artificial flavors, high fructose corn syrup, refined sugars, red dye #1-1000, and all sorts of other awful things. Why not just avoid all that horror by simply making these with 10 minutes of prep time. That’s less time than it takes to drive to the store anyways! It is super easy to make your own popsicles plus it adds something fun to your day.
Bring them to any family gathering or party, people will surely love you for it.
What do you need to make popsicles at home?
- popsicle molds
- wooden sticks
- fun idea
There is one little disclaimer I should mention before you begin,…to prepare your popsicles you will have to get a proper mold set. I ordered mine online on Amazon but I am sure you can find them at a grocery store nearby. Popsicle mold sets usually come with wooden sticks but they’re easy to find anyways when you run out.
Last but not least you will need to come up with a flavor and style. With a little bit of creativity you can take fruit, juice, dairy free milk, dairy free yogurt, etc. and turn them into tasty homemade popsicles.
For these fruity popsicles I used Mangosteen Juice from Pure. Mangosteen is known for its antioxidant content and its ability to neutralize free radicals in the body. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a summer dessert and neutralizing free radicals at the same time!
If you make these or any popsicles, please let me know. I’d love to see what you come up with. Make sure to tag @delight.fuel or simply comment below.
