3 ingredients. Thats all that it takes for you to whip up one amazing chocolate mousse. It’s rich, decadent and as healthy as can be. How can someone say no to that?
When I think of chocolate mousse I think of a fancy dessert at a fancy restaurant. This recipe right here doesn’t scream fancy but it sure tastes like a million bucks.
In my culinary school I actually learned how to prepare a proper chocolate mousse. It is essentially a process of beating egg yolks and then mixing it with whipped cream and melted chocolate. It was my absolute favorite growing up until I had to change my diet. This dairy free and sugar-free version of a chocolate mousse is comparatively a lot easier and takes a lot less time to prepare. And trust me, once you have a taste for it, you will not be able to stop. That silky chocolately goodness is so addictive!
This recipe actually originated from my dark chocolate ganache tart. I simply transferred some of the mousse filling leftovers in a few jars and refrigerated them overnight. The next morning I tried some of it with fresh yogurt and berries and let me tell you it tasted heavenly. Since then it has been my go to desserts for when my husband and I have guests over.
When you make this amazingly delicious 3 ingredient chocolate mousse, I’d love to know what you think in the comments below, as a review, or simply take a pic and tag @delight.fuel
