These super indulging fudge bars are unlike your regular fudge. First, they are packed with a yummy homemade praline butter. Secondly, these guys are a lot healthier and therefore much more enjoyable. No dairy or refined sugar needed. Sounds great? Let’s make them.

Paleo Praline Chocolate Fudge

How to make paleo praline fudge bars:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place almonds and pecans on the baking sheet and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes.

In a large saucepan heat maple syrup over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes until it starts to bubble. Add the roasted nuts and continue cooking, stirring frequently until the maple syrup has reduced. This will take about 6-8 minutes. Once no liquid remains and maple syrup has coated the nuts, remove from heat and transfer onto a lined baking sheet. Let cool for 10 minutes.

Transfer maple coated nuts into a high speed blender or food processor and process into a smooth praline butter. This will take 5-10 minutes depending on the quality of your food processor.

In a small saucepan combine praline butter with coconut oil over low heat and set aside.
