If you are looking for a fun and delicious fall drink, this yummy spiced Apple Sangria is your answer. It’s the perfect seasonal beverage to bring to any gathering and enjoy with family and friends.
If there’s only one apple you could use for your yummy seasonal Apple Sangria, I would definitely recommend the Gala apple. It’s on the sweeter side and blends so well with white wine and fall spices. Combining all fall favorites into one delicious beverage.
The main ingredient of this spiced apple sangria:
Apple Cider: Apple cider will be the base for your Spiced Apple Sangria. You can make your own at home or buy apple cider from the store. Make sure to buy unsweetened.
White Wine: Mild white wine will be perfect for this fall beverage. I used a 2021 Pinot Gris from Erath Wines.
Gala Apples: Use your favorite apples. I used Gala Apples. They add the perfect amount of sweetness. You can add pears or pomegranates as well.
Cinnamon Sticks: A must to include into your recipe!
How to prepare this fall sangria:
In a pitcher add sliced apples, apple cider, cinnamon sticks and white wine.
Let sit in the refrigerator for 6-8 or overnight.
Serve in a glass with ice and garnish with fresh figs and fresh thyme. ENJOY!
