What’s Halloween without a bunch of yummy spooky chocolate treats? Before we get into this tasty chocolate bark, here are some of my favorite Halloween treats:
Paleo Halloween Ghost Cupcakes
Ghost Meringues
Flourless Franken-muffins
Whether you plan to do anything for Halloween this year or not, this fun and spooky chocolate halloween bark is the perfect treat to prepare to celebrate.
It is quick, easy and let’s throw in “cute” for good measure. Plus it is a lot healthier than the regular halloween candy you can buy at the store.
How to prepare the spooky bark:
In a small pot heat cacao butter over low heat until all chunks are almost melted. Take off the heat and stir until cacao butter is completely melted.
In a separate small pot heat white chocolate with coconut oil and set aside to cool
Add cacao powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, salt into the melted cacao butter and whisk until combined.
Whisk in coconut milk until combined and pour into a parchment paper lined brownie or cookie sheet. If you choose an 8×8 inch brownie sheet your bark will be a thicker. If you want it to be thinner, make sure to use a cookie sheet.
Using a spoon drop melted white chocolate into the dark chocolate leaving 1-2 inches in between.
With a wooden skewer or backside of a spoon swirl the chocolate in circular motions.
Top with preferred toppings and let sit in the fridge for about 1-2 hours. ENJOY!
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
As always, if you happen to make this tasty chocolate bark, please let me know! I’d love to see how they turn out and don’t forget to tag @delight.fuel or simply comment below.
