Hello to all the chocolate lovers out there! I’ve got a dreamy breakfast recipe coming your way today. What we have here is super simple, takes only a few minutes to prepare, and brings pure flavorful goodness into your life. Let me introduce you to the most delicious Chocolate Granola this world has ever seen…or at least that I have ever tried. :p
People who know me personally know that I am completely and utterly in love with chocolate. Whether it is a simple chocolate dessert, breakfast or even enjoying 100% chocolate for snacking, I just can’t say no to chocolate! (unless it has bad sugars in it of course). 3 years ago I would have never imagined putting a piece of unsweetened chocolate in my mouth outside of a dare, let alone enjoying it lol. To me it was very bitter and simply off-putting. Having said that, after going through a diet change and a sugar detox the last few years my taste buds changed quite a lot and now I absolutely love the pure taste of raw cacao.
Don’t worry, what you see here is not completely 100%. For all the people who still prefer to cut that cacao with some kind of sweetness, and I don’t blame you, I created this deliciously amazing chocolate granola recipe. I have made quite a few different granola recipes in the past but nothing has turned out quite like this one.
My husband absolutely digs this to the point where I had to make double the amount to make it last for just one week. Yes that sounds a bit excessive, believe me, I keep telling him to just add 1/2 cup to his regular breakfast bowl (oats, flax and all that good stuff) but he has no self control when it comes to this granola.
How to make the perfect granola:
- One of the best ways to use your nut milk pulp- add it to your granola. It blends in very well and creates great texture. I personally used my Almond cow hazelnut milk leftovers.
- Do not stir the granola after you take it out of the oven. It needs to sit and cool down so it can create clusters. It is not a good granola if it doesn’t have its crispy clusters!
