Blueberry Beet Smoothie

This vibrant Blueberry Beet Smoothie is perfect, when trying to sneak in some healthy into your tasty for breakfast. While we all love the idea of eating fresh fruits and vegetables we don’t always have or take the time to prepare healthy meals.

This healthy blueberry and beet smoothie gives you both in just one smoothie and takes less than 5 minutes to prepare.

How to make a blueberry beet smoothie:

1.) In a high speed blender or food processor add all of the ingredients and blend until completely smooth. If you don’t have a great blender yet, check out this Vitamix. 

2.) Pour and serve immediately. Garnish with fresh fruit and granola if preferred.

  • Both beets and blueberries are high in antioxidants and therefore a perfect way to detox your body.
  • Beets are low in calories and a great source of nutrients, including potassium, vitamin C, and more.
  • They are also high in fiber and will keep you satisfied for quite a while.

Start the day off right with a deliciously healthy and vibrant blueberry beet smoothie. Made with just a few wholesome ingredients, 1 blender and 5 minutes, this smoothie is packed with lots of nutrients and great flavor. A perfect way to detox your body. 

Ingredients

  • 3 cups plant-based milk
  • 1/4 cup nut butter
  • 1 medium sized beet (cooked)
  • 1/4 cup seed blend (hemp, chia, flax)
  • 2 cups frozen/fresh blueberries
  • 1 tbsp beet powder (optional)
  • 1 frozen banana (optional)

Instructions

    1.) In a high speed blender or food processor add all ingredients and blend until completely smooth.
    2.) Pour into 2-3 glasses and serve immediately.
    3.) Garnish with fresh fruit and granola if preferred.
