If you haven’t mixed your avocados with chocolate yet, what are you waiting for? These rich and insanely decadent salted chocolate avocado truffles are one of a kind.
While adding avocados to chocolate might sound a bit odd, it’s absolutely amazing and whoever thought of it is a genius. The avocados add a creamy and rich texture and thanks to the neutral flavor you won’t taste any of it in your truffles.
They are prepared with 5 simple wholesome ingredients and are probably the easiest truffles you’ll ever prepare.
Healthiest Truffles to ever exist
As mentioned these tasty chocolate avocado treats are not only super easy to prepare but also packed with healthy fats and vitamins. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of such a truffle recipe. Here’s what you need:
You’ll need one large avocado, preferably ripe for a smooth and creamy texture.
Unsweetened cacao powder for a pure chocolate flavor and will add additional healthy fats. I know it’s literally a fat bomb. My favorite kinda treat. :p
Melted chocolate with coconut oil for some rich chocolate action and additional healthy fats. Lots of healthy fats, I know, it’s literally a fat bomb. My favorite kinda treat. :p
Add a little bit of maple syrup for some extra sweetness. This can be replaced with medjool dates or completely left out if stevia sweetened chocolate is sweet enough for you.
These truffles call for salt but if you are not a fan, just leave it out.
Process all of the ingredients in a quality food processor until your truffle mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
Let sit in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before rolling them into little truffles.
Dip in chocolate, et voila, you’ve got yourself some amazing chocolate avocado truffles. The recipe couldn’t be easier. Make them for your kiddos, bring em to a friend’s party or simply prepare them for yourself.
